Provocative and prolific.

In 2011 the Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads appeared near the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Designed by Ai Weiwei, one of China’s most provocative and prolific contemporary artists. Creating approximately thirty spectacular art projects over twenty years, his life is as fascinating and brave as the woman who modeled for the statue above. Audrey Munson aka "Miss Manhattan" is New York's most famous muse. The bronze statue of Munson's lovely face and figure was placed in memory of journalist Joseph Pulitzer. Austrian Sculptor Karl Bitter was inspired by Pomona, the Goddess of fruit and abundance.
